What began with a simple observation in Lohgaon 15 years ago has now grown into a mission-driven enterprise. Witnessing the struggles of local women without stable income or opportunities, Shubhangi Sawant established Shubhangiee Industry — a company focused on producing authentic Indian spices and eco-friendly cleaning products. Women are trained in manufacturing, packaging, and sales, enabling them to gain financial security and a sense of purpose.
Promoting Financial and Social Awareness
Empowerment isn’t just economic. Through self-help groups, the company educates women on savings, investments, and the fundamentals of financial literacy. Workshops on mental health and social issues also play a key role in building self-esteem, confidence, and awareness among participants.
Breaking Barriers Through Unique Experiences
In a bold step to take empowerment beyond the workplace, Shubhangiee Industry organized a Women’s Day Adventure Bike Riding event in collaboration with Rupesh Chondhe of Motopark199. Over 200 women participated, riding sports bikes and experiencing the thrill of adventure biking — many for the first time. With bikers joining from across India and Indonesia, the event became a celebration of courage and liberation.
